The breakfast was absolutely amazing, the best I've ever had! the location was lovely, surrounded by beautiful countryside and not too far from the city. the owners were incredibly welcoming and friendly, making us feel right at home.
The road leading up to the property was a bit rough, with a few potholes. It wasn't a major issue, but it required driving slowly.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. The location was peaceful and had beautiful countryside views.
The access road was bumpy and not ideal for someone with arthritis. a walk-in shower would have been helpful, but I forgot to ask if there was a room with one.

The owner warmly welcomed us and personally showed us to our room. The room was immaculate and had all the facilities we needed for a comfortable stay. The full English breakfast in the morning was delicious and gave us a great start to our day. The location on the Powderham Estate provided beautiful views and the opportunity to explore the nearby castle and Exeter. this was a great place to stay while touring Devon.
The mirror in our room was in an awkward position with no nearby socket for hair drying, which required some creative maneuvering.

The location of the hotel was superb, offering a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. the breakfast provided was delicious and the staff, including Delia and the gentleman who served us in the morning, were extremely accommodating. They gave us a warm welcome and even provided us with tips on nearby attractions, such as a castle with a farm shop, restaurant, and deer in the grounds. the staff's hospitality and the beautiful surroundings made our stay truly enjoyable.
The only downside for me was the lack of tea options. I prefer organic herbal teas or Earl Gray, but the only option available was PG Tips.

Friendly and welcoming staff who went out of their way to accommodate us during our Christmas stay.
Limited selection of breakfast options, could benefit from more variety to cater to different tastes.
